Another week for the books. This past week has been so picture perfect here, I can't remember a November this warm. Somehow, I think we're going to pay for this when winter finally does come to the Northeast! Oh, well... for now we will just enjoy these mid 60 temperatures! Obviously, this beautiful weather is one of this week's favorites... here are some more...
African violets that are blooming when every other flower is going to sleep for the winter...
The last steak on the grill... we don't grill through the winter like some folks do. If we had a garage we probably would, but without one we would have to keep the space around, and the path to, the grill cleared of snow and that's just too much work!
My Scentsy candle warmer. My son and daughter in law gave it to me as a gift a couple of years ago and I love that I can "burn" candles without the flame... and it's pretty on top of that! Right now it has a citrus sage scented wax in it.
Easy lunches... sometimes you just get tired of sandwiches and leftovers...
My flower friend... my mom gave each one of her daughters and nieces one of these a few years ago. The base has a solar bit in it and when the sun shines, the flower dances. Since my mom passed away this little dancing flower is a reminder that she is with me always.
