More Rain...

I'm starting to think we should build an ark.  But living 650ish feet above the Columbia River we should be okay.  :-)  But geez.  I'm afraid our garden will just drown.  It needs sun, too.  Dayle said he saw a zucchini flower, though.  I wouldn't know as I haven't been outside for a garden tour in days due to cold rain.  We even had thunder and lightning yesterday evening.  Plus.. it's supposed to rain for 4 more days until we see partly sunny.  Phew.

Dayle ventured into Costco a few days ago for the first time in 3 months and brought home this pretty bouquet.

I put the doily I crocheted on our glass topped rattan table next to the pellet stove.  I put my bunny that I sewed there as I love it.  Plus my bunny door stop.

Dayle also brought in this bouquet of Double Delight roses as he knew they would not do well in the rain.

These flowers are interesting as they only turn red when sun hits them.. so as you can see they are sun-deprived.. like I am.  :-)

I spied a wild rabbit in our pasture behind our house, right next to the tall grasses.. I just googled to find out the genus of our rabbits and it looks like ours are the Eastern Cottontail.

He was pretty far, Dayle estimates 75 feet or so.. so the photo isn't really clear.

Our youngest grandson is staying with us for a few days, which is nice.  I've gotten more crochet accomplished and am nearing being done with the purple body of it.  I ordered 2 more skeins of purple as I didn't want to run out and have to stop production and they arrived yesterday.  Plus I intend to make a matching hat with it.  I am also going to crochet a face mask for myself.  Has anyone seen a pattern for a crocheted mask?  I will google it.  Have a wonderful weekend, my friends. Any exciting plans?

((hugs)), Teresa :-)
